A Life Well Lived

Heather Christensen

July 31, 1976 - October 10, 2009

The funeral was inspiring. The speakers had such great things to say about Heather and also some thought provoking advice for those of us attending. Heather was a remarkable person. She served others and put her whole heart into the things she wanted to accomplish. She had an amazing sense of humor and lived a life full of joy.

After the services ended, the marching band that Heather taught went outside and lined the pathway for them to carry Heather through. They played a beautiful song (Theme song from Band of Brothers) and the band members were very emotional as she was carried through. She loved them and they loved her and you could feel that. It was very emotional for everyone.

You are loved and missed, Heather...

I have goosebumps everywhere, and I'm on the edge of tears. How sad. Those are very emotional pictures. I'm so sorry for your loss, Leslie.

Leslie-I still peek at your blog and am inspired but all you have learned and by all you continue to share about your experiences.
I came across this blog a few weeks ago. Someone I know-knew this family and they just lost their husband/father suddenly of an unexpected heart condition. I thought you might find it interesting to read. Maybe even therapeutic.

You've come a long way in the past couple of years and I continue to be inspired by you. Thank you!!

I will not concur on it. I regard as polite post. Especially the designation attracted me to study the whole story.
