100,000 !!!
On July 22, our blog reached 100,000 visits. I thought it was a momentous occasion, so I snapped a photo with my phone and wanted to thank everyone who has visited us here to share in our lives and our story. We are grateful for the love we have received from so many family, friends and 'strangers'.
Aaron Jr and his cousin Jack. They put pillows in the front and back of their shirts and thought they were pretty funny. Come to think of it, we thought they were pretty funny as well.
Sleeping in the car after a long day.
Climbing the wrong way UP a slide.
We went on a bike ride with Mark and Suzy and their precious little Evelyn. She is so tiny... Aaron Jr. makes her look even smaller. It was a fun little jaunt.
My only word for this photo should be: WHATEVER!
I don't know WHAT happened to my car... but we got home one day and when we went to drive the car again later that day, the front left tire was flat. So, our neighbor helped us put on the spare. But then the next morning, the back left tire was flat... what on earth? What happened to them? It is a mystery.
This is Aaron Jr. after that photoshoot with Sara Boulter. Aaron was following some ducks... they let him get ridiculously close.
And this is US after the photo shoot. We walked around for so long looking for a restroom. Aaron Jr needed to go potty. EVERY restroom on the premises was locked. So, I took him over to this park area and he went pee at the base of a tree. I know that story is one everyone wanted to hear. Anyhow, here we are.
All but the flat tire photo in this posting were taken with my camera phone. I never thought I would be a camera phone sort of gal, but it has come in handy several times.

did you run over something?
I will never reach the 100,000 mark on my blog. that is amazing.
I am sure every mother of a boy has allowed their son to take care of their business on a tree, afterall, when in a pinch, why not take advantage of such convenience?
I let my boy go on trees, but I also have 3 girls, and sometimes, when in a pinch, we find a way for them to go on trees too. And parking lots, and weeds, and grass, and pine cones. Hey, when you gotta go, you gotta go!
Hi Leslie - From the sounds of it, you're use to having strangers view your blog. :)
I stumbled across your blog a month or so ago. I'm LDS also. I lost my sister about 10 yrs ago to a car accident, and lost my mom 3 years ago to cancer. I think that's why I'm so touched by your blog. I am amazed with your strength. You seem like such a good mom.
I just thought I'd let you know who I was and why I was viewing your blog. My blog is private, but if you're ever interested in who this stranger is, I'd send you an invite to it. My email is courtneycurt@gmail.com
