One Crazy Winter ~ 2012-13

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
We had a crazy winter.
I'm not sure how much it actually snowed, but it stayed so cold, the snow never seemed to melt.
Here are some photos that show our winter experience.

Aaron and I shoveled snow all winter long.
Aaron was a trooper.
We were blessed with great neighbors as well who would come over without being asked and would use their snow blowers to remove snow from our driveway and sidewalks.

Our car.

Our trampoline.

The icicles outside the windows at work.

Snowflakes that froze on our car window.
Aren't they beautiful?

Icicle from roof to ground. WOW.

These next photos are during an ice storm.
If you look closely, you can see that the top of the snow is just a think layer of ice.
It was really crunchy to walk through.
It actually felt like you were stepping through glass.

See the layer of ice on our car?

And again, the layer of ice on top of the snow.

View out the car window as we drove past the house.

This is Aaron sitting on top of our mailbox.
The snow was so deep.

This is an icicle outside of our kitchen window.
I LOVED the way it looked with the sunset behind it.
So beautiful.

Later in the sunset.

My sweet Aaron.
